Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Classic Napa, nice structure. Elegant and balanced.

Underwhelming and still struggling to get on board with the house style, especially when the wines are young.

Enjoyed flavors of leather, dark berries, liquid smoke. Drank well and opened nicely.

2016 seems fruitier

10 year Anniversary/Marriage Retreat

Nice contrast between the savory nose and fresh vibrant palate. Medium to full elegant body. Polished tannins.
Charming now, this will be great in 4-5 years’ time.

Blossomed into a deep dense draminte of deliciousness

Beautifully fragrant, this medium ruby colored Napa Cab is very herbal and fresh on the nose. Medium to full bodied with well defined flavors of blackcurrant, ripe black cherries and blueberries, cedar wood, cloves and chocolate, it doesn’t have the rustic appeal of previous vintages and is actually quite polished. Drink now until 2040.

Let it open, bit of a young bite… but after a smooth delight to drink. Big fruit .

Few more years of bottle age would’ve helped, but very nice already.
