Heinrich
Burgenland St. Laurent
Mossy. Wet bark. Anise. Bruised cherries. Earthy. Medium bodied with good acidity and some tannic grip but lacking fruit. Reminds me of Northern Italian reds on the nose. Close out at Astor Wines, $16 instead of $30. Makes me crave game birds.

May 2nd, 2015Way over performed what I was expecting from the reviews. Didn't find it to be candied at all. Great weight, spice, fruit, push/pull. Liked it a lot for <$70 on a wine list.

Mar 17th, 2019What a pleasant surprise! Simply delicious! My first St. Laurent! In the fresh and fruity style of beaujolais. Soft and sweet, with bitterish aftertaste. Easy drinking quality wine.
