Way over performed what I was expecting from the reviews. Didn't find it to be candied at all. Great weight, spice, fruit, push/pull. Liked it a lot for <$70 on a wine list.

What a pleasant surprise! Simply delicious! My first St. Laurent! In the fresh and fruity style of beaujolais. Soft and sweet, with bitterish aftertaste. Easy drinking quality wine.
