Wine selection in in the London lounge was much better than the one in NYC. Appropriately named, this was pretty big, full throttle fruit, a touch of spice and sweetness. I would buy this as a “safety wine” - one to open when you want something decent and non-wine-lovers (or extended family) come over. I think this would actually age pretty well too.

This 2012 Shiraz is what you would expect, just in your face wine ! Nose full of black fruits, plums, cherries, sweet spices , light smoke turkey and vanilla, full body with smooth tannins and balancing acidity, very warm and fruity, long finish. My score 87, drink to 2018, chill in the summer ;-)

2013 vintage. Opened on 26th Jan 2019. Medium heavy bodied. Heavy berries nose with furnish of dairy milk scent giving it smoothness to the nose as well as the palate. Medium to heavy tannins. Long finishing with orangy aftertaste. A special one to pair with strong cheese or red meats.
