The Blonde Stone Well Shiraz
Mid weight, nicely dense, super fine but somehow thick tannin leaves a lovely dryness with a long long finish. Raspberry, light violet florals, whole bunch inclusion leaves it sweet but savoury.

Mar 31st, 2019New release from a stellar vintage. Big bright red fruits and crunchy tannins. Saw 500l hogsheads and more floral and perfumed than brunette. Evolved well.

Apr 23rd, 2017Ogier's Cote Rotie seems to come to mind when I tasted this. Riper of course, but still showing elegance. Bright with just the right amount of oak, silky tannins. Impressive Barossa shiraz - will need to try a bottle to confirm.
Note: Gary Walsh awarded this 95 points suggesting that this release reminded him, “of how Rockford Basket Press used to taste.”

This was so super floral when we first opened it; was actually too much. Needed at least an hour to settle at which point it became very enjoyable. Nice line at acidity to balance the sweet raspberry and blueberry fruit characters. Needs 3-5 years I reckon.
