Violets, roses, licorice, truffles, tar on the nose. Tastes of dried cherries, other dried red fruits, licorice, flowers, well integrated oak. Tannins have softened just enough, along with nice acidic structure, to put it in great balance. Surprisingly youthful. Has plenty of life still ahead — 4 years ago
