Earthy minerally sooty savoury notes. The 70% Mourvèdre fruit had lost much of its blackberry fruit from a few years ago. No oak influence being fermented in stainless steel then put into old oak foudres.

Dark crimson. Notes of ash (tray). Not uncommon for Mourvèdre from this part of the world. I had a Monastrell from Spain earlier this year which was even more ash tray! Spicy with hints of cherry and game. Clean with not a hint of Brett. Ultra savoury. Highly enjoyable.
