Deep, leathery red with hints of tobacco and spice. Good as a standalone wine, but if I had to pair it, it'd be with gourd and squash dishes.

Solid. Light but full and sufficiently complex. Buy more. Great value at $18 from Vendome. Should definitely keep multiple bottles. Good go to wine for anytime.
