Salted butter, flint, lemon on the nose. Nice body with a Malo feel but it doesn’t show a lot of oak on the palate. More acidic than I’d expect for a chardonnay, but just a touch more than Napa/Sonoma. Finish shows some meringue, guava and even some grapefruit. Very unique Canadian wine...I’m impressed.
