A very dry affair. No prominent flavours but overall we liked it. Enjoyed it with shaved asiago. Tasted better after a day being opened.

Stags grapes for less than $15... The 2007 was better, but for the price the 2008 is a great deal.

Jan 2nd, 20162008 Hawk Crest Red Hills Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon ... It was excellent and a great value!!! I had it at the Wharf restaurant in Old Town Alexandria VA. This winery is owned by Stags Leap and the Cab is very smooth and much better than is rated on this site.
