Past is prime did not enjoy it

2006 Vintage. Medium weight in mouth, mellowed acid, chestnut notes of aged Chardonnay, some oak in the long finish with a hint of roasted butternut squash. Tasted June 2015, and while it still has some life, drink now.

Great length and complexity, low acidity and relatively high in alcohol (13.5%). Nicely oaked, nutty, fruit and vanilla flavours and strong bouquet make this a good white to accompany meaty meals.

Ripe fruits on the nose. Good length on the palate. Rich Californian wine. Lacks finesse but does the job well
