Hartford Court
Velvet Sisters Anderson Valley Pinot Noir

Wine #2 of the night. Plush fruit has taken a back seat so softer fruit and earth tones. Still more than enough acidity to hold everything together but drink up!

This wine opens with one of the most stunning noses I have come across in quite while. A fruit basket of blackberries, raspberries and plum explode from the glass in a way where you can’t wait for your first sip. The palate is lush and generous without being at all heavy. Flavors of black cherry and plum lead to notes of sandalwood, delicate oak and forest spice. The finish is long and shows off acidity of a much younger wine along with dark fruit and velvety, plush tannins. Just absolutely wonderful!
