16’ Hartford Court Jennifer's Vineyard Chardonnay. Vineyard is located in Sebastopol Hills in Russian river.
As of late. I’ve noticed California Chardonnay’s have changed for the better. Now they have power and finesse. Which I absolutely adore. This is a perfect example of just that.
It’s a balance beam act of pear, slightly more citrusy fruits then I picked up in there other single vineyards. A bit of spice & the right amount of acidity. Very well-made wine. Something I wouldn’t age. Drink them all up by 2022.

A cut above the lovely 4 Hearts, 3 Jacks and stone cote. Much more French style than Cali. only a vague hint of sweetness.

Another great 18 chard under $70.00
Wine Advocate review

The 2018 Chardonnay Jennifer’s Vineyard was 100% barrel fermented in French oak barrels, 34% new, and aged for 14 months. It springs from the glass with impressive lemon curd, lime blossom, sea spray and mandarin peel scents with hints of shaved almonds, green mango and chalk dust. The palate is like a tightly coiled spring with amazing tension and intensity—loads of citrus and mineral layers—finishing very long and zesty. 220 cases were made.

Consistent with my prior tasting. Good wine, but I would drink them now.

It's decent, not my favorite. A touch sweet on the front side, then gets crisp and lemony. Lot of oak. The saving grace of this wine is the excellent and even finish.

Enormous lemon balm, lots of oak, and alcohol is pronounced. Not dainty, as some other Hartfords, but delicious.
