First impression, this wine smells like a candied pineapple. This is then followed by butterscotch, honey and a touch of toast. The palate bursts with fresh, juicy acidity. Flavors of creamed peaches, buttered apples and honey lead to noticeable chewy oak, minerals and gravel. The finish is long and very dry with drying oak and massive acidity. A lovely Chardonnay that has a lot of time left and possibly a very interesting evolution in front of it.
