Arrendell Vineyard Pinot Noir

Excelente Pinot Noir de Arrandel vineyards. Un vino muy placentero!

I like Pinot Noir but this is the best l ever had from Russian River!

This bottle was opened at the right time. Rich red fruit and a full body. It had time enough for all the elements to come together.

Ripe

Surprisingly dark. Aromas of dark cherry, juniper berry, pine forest. The relatively high alcohol is very well integrated. Tannins are practically non-existent. Impeccably balanced and of-a-piece. Vinous. Paired very well with pecan/parsley, oven-roasted wild salmon, sautéed mushrooms w/thyme and smashed potatoes with full fat Greek yogurt. Less balanced after some air and above cellar temp. Better cool.

tobacco. spice. funky - in a good way

Needed a good 45min to open up.
