Feb 20th, 20171997 Harlan Estate CS. Pre-bday dinner at P. Last bottle opened after the DRC RSV and magnum Giacomo Monfortino. As expected- big, green veg, leather, earth. Got more mineral and green veg as it sat in the glass, interestingly enough. Delicious and great contrast to the Giacomo Monfortino.

Sep 8th, 2016Magnum 1997 Harlan Estate CS. This wine was awesome. We were anticipating that it might not be showing well, but it was perfect. Still tons of fruit, balanced tannins, and a super long finish. Loved it

Feb 3rd, 20161997 Harlan Estate. Second red wine of the night w Greg, Y, and K at Il Piccolino. This wine was epic. Great. Loved it. Huge fruit, vanilla, and oak, but perfectly balanced.
