Aug 14th, 2022Early development. Still too youthful and somewhat closed after three hours of decanting. Bold black currant, wild red cherry, cassis, and hints of black berry liquor. Decaying red roses and violets. A monstrous dried crushed rock, lead, minerality and wet chestnut/cigar box tannic finish. Sweet/salty soy throughout. Will hit its peak after 30+ more years.

Jun 22nd, 2015A bit past it’s prime but held up well considering. Nicely balanced. Tannins still strong. Intense red cherry core surrounded by tertiary aromas and flavors. Aromas of...Red cherry, cooked plum, tomato, white pepper, toasted wood, clove, tobacco, leather, cigar box, smoke, animal fur.

May 14th, 2018Totally didn't expect this 27 year old cab to be drinkable. Cork crumbled trying to open it. There was only a bit of aging color and it was delicious. Still had fruit and very soft tannins. Wow!
