Impressive. Typical of the grape (and how many do you see outside of Austria??) medium body. Good acidity. Bright black and red fruit. Spicy with white pepper, nutmeg, green cardamom and espelette. Dried roses. First wine from this producer. Will need to try several more based on how impressive this NZ Zwiegelt is. Very well made.

Medium-bodied, well-balanced - somewhat tannic but in a good way - and with some very unusual spicy flavours. Would like to try again.
