Deep garnet red with a touch of ruby. Quite a bit of gravel on the nose with strawberries, leather, cassis and black cherries. Medium tannins (6.5/10) with a medium plus body. Smooth palate with some extraction. Great backbone too with layers of forest floor, baking spices and dark cherries. Long finish. Drink till 2028.
Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Rossi Vineyard in the Oak Knoll District. Aged for 22 months in 70% new French oak barrels.
