Not sure what the point is in making a wine from Cabernet Franc that tastes just like Cabernet Sauvignon. Big, bold, and very Napa.

This very dark 10 year old Napa Cabernet Franc pops with a strong raspberry taste. The finish is very good, but compared to the 2009 CS the previous night, just isn’t the same. Interesting comparison! Chewy finish.

2009 - this has hit a sweet spot. Starting round out with leather cherry notes along the cab franc acidity and tannin. Happy 4th!
