Small Christmas party with friends and this was singing - prefect color and amazing nose followed by a rich fruit forward but balanced taste and finished so strong like a Kentucky Derby winner - love holidays with friends - smiling

The rocky minerality shockingly pierces through this wine's medium to full body. Currants, violets and black cherry hold court on the nose and palate, with some graphite , the oak is mostly integrated. Tannins are still youthful and stout. Fresh and long on the finish this is a beaute! #napaearthquake

Very sexual in nature. Could feel a bad case of "crazy pants" setting in after a mere 2-3 sips. Dark fruit, turgid tannins and a subtle taste of whip leather on the finish. NOT for the 4th Estate.

Mar 26th, 2017Big & bold. Green pepper and cooked cherry on the nose. Spices on taste with jammy cherries, finish of some edgy tannins (after 11 years!). Hot at 14 5% but balanced.
