Surprised buy how much acidity was still holding on to this bottle. Bright cherry and not as lush as was expecting from Hall.

It was a fun night to have a vertical of Katherine Halls Excellance 2011 , 2012 and 2013. Overall the 2012 won!!! Notes of rich dark berries and cassis. A beautiful wine that go with a bone in rib eye. Nothing like a Saturday night with great wine and great friends.
