Ellie's Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Big fan. Violets, blackberry, oak spice and a hint of bell pepper. Really nicely balanced. Acidity, fruit and tannins all playing nicely.

Slightly dry, long mouthfeel. Great for a 2011. Better than their napa cab.

Great drinking Cab, not a monster like a lot in the Rutherford Bench area, but different. Showing Great right now.

This wine almost has a creaminess to it. Silky sheet texture, with plenty of leather and dark berries that linger through the finish. Gave it a one hour decant and I'm glad I did. Loved it.

Decanted an hour. This is a flavor bomb. On the nose it's that brand new violet Crayola crayon out of the Mega 64 pack. Bursts of blackberries and cherries on the palate. Crazy long finish. A bit dusty and leathery and a wonderful cab from Hall.

A solid, delicious effort. Decanted for 3 hours and still feeling the wine is young.

9 for the wine, extra points for the owl on the bottle :) delicious Napa cab.
