Nov 20th, 2017A former WS Top 100, this has a beautiful deep burgundy color. Decanted for two and half hours and drank over the next two. A wonderful toasted oak and red fruit on the nose. On the palate I get more of those red fruits with cherry being the highlight. Definitely a little cola in there with some mineral hints but not an overwhelming amount. Smooth, medium tannins that are well integrated. I think it is just now entering into its drinking window and some more time will only serve to improve what is already a fine wine.

Woody with the layers of fruit (plum) trying to break through. some licorice, earth, and tobacco. 4 hrs of air needed
For a 94 pt spectator, 95 parker cab, it's a good value (80 bucks).
