Decanted for 90 minutes. A beautiful dark ruby color with purple and red fruits on the nose. On the palate I find a little more of the red fruits but also some nice spice flavors. Enough structure and tannins to pair with food but could easily drink on its own. Nice medium finish that really just makes you want more. Solid 94 now but really could see this going higher. Exactly what I expect from Bevan Cellars. — 6 years ago

A former WS Top 100, this has a beautiful deep burgundy color. Decanted for two and half hours and drank over the next two. A wonderful toasted oak and red fruit on the nose. On the palate I get more of those red fruits with cherry being the highlight. Definitely a little cola in there with some mineral hints but not an overwhelming amount. Smooth, medium tannins that are well integrated. I think it is just now entering into its drinking window and some more time will only serve to improve what is already a fine wine. — 6 years ago
