Excellent. Highly structured but showing some fruit, with fine tannins, meat, chocolate, and a bit of herbs and flowers. Best CA syrah to date.

Final bottle and damn was it great. Walks the fine line of dark brooding fruit, savage meatiness, spicy white pepper and earth. Proves you don't have to spend 100+ to get a great wine.

gets better as it breathes. full of fruit and tannins. really excellent. as good as I remember from when I discovered it at Hospice du Rhone.
