Monterey County Pinot Noir

2014 vintage. Smooth, but lacked body and flavor

Very smooth and slightly sweet. Perfect for someone wanting to get into reds.

Very delicious, fruit forward first sip which quickly evolved into an overly alcoholic, astringent, difficult to finish glass. In fairness, I ordered one glass in a restaurant and can’t attest to their storage methods, vintage, or when the bottle was opened. What I tried failed to impress though.

Decent Pinot for price ($15~). Medium bodied, berries/plums

Smooth but missing something. I can’t put my finger on it but I would not purchase this again

Bright red fruit on the nose. Fruit forward on the palate with mild pepper. Laid back acid and tannins make it smooth and approachable. Nice medium-length finish.

Smooth. A little spicy aftertaste

Not a ton on the nose. Bit of cherry and plum. Flavor is the rich and full Pinot style. Some berry and a little licorice. Hits the fun and fresh style well.
