On a cool summer day cooking out on the grill I thought I would open this delightful Cabernet Franc. It has a nice nose of dark fruit, blackberries, ripe plum, licorice and smoke. I can on first swirl my mouth is filled with prune, vegetal notes, good smooth tannins, blackberries and length that last a good long while. I am truly liking this wine which makes me smile for miles. Nostrovia.

Almost 10 years old when I opened it, this Monterey County wine was moderate alcohol, smooth, subtle and very mellow with a hint of cocoa on the finish. Very easy to drink.
