Nice little number. Tad ripe.

The 2014 lacks the heft of warmer vintages, making it entirely quaffable. Soft and round, lots of fresh raspberry and a hint of réglisse. The price is unbeatable. And at table, a little drizzle of Vieux Télégraphe olive oil (left) helps to tie it all together.

A sexier version of Cotes du Rhone.
