Had at restaurant in Menerbe, FR. Flabby, no lasting finish and not interesting. The most strange SJ I’ve had and not worth remembering - not what you expect from SJ.

We are enjoying this at Robert DeNiro's TriBeCa Grill in Lower west Manhattan. This is from northern Rhone where most wines are 100% Syrah. This is an awesome wine. A bit tannic, but not overbearing. Good balance and I can't wait for the Spicy Lamb Meatballs!
