Have not tasted the Gut Hermannsberg wines since they sent me samples last summer. Nose is stoney and mineral with gorgeous peach and apricot notes. Some vulcanized rubber as well. A bit closed. Palate is mineral driven with some apricot and lovely balance and purity. Great acids. Super clean but seems a bit closed and less expressive than last year. Good energy and delineation. Let’s see where air takes this. Tangy lime note appearing on the finish with some air.
9.2 to 9.3 with air. So much more elegant and expressive. Deeper fruit and compact. Wonderful.
Finish is picking up intense minerality, mineral sweetness, saltiness and with more apparent structure.

Baby Kupfergrube GG here. What a nose. Wow. Just sickness. 9.4 off the bat. Confectionary. Creamy. Peach. Rainer cherries. So clear and refined. Very expansive and airy. Peach fuzz. Barely ripe peach skin and pith. Just a terrific nose. Palate is so elegant and fine. Just as mineral as the Vom Schiefer but it caresses rather than bludgeons. Really classic, refined and again, that gut H intense, refined and complex minerality. Really mouthfilling and a lovely intense mineral roundness. Structured and intense. Very long and finishes super saline and salty.

2019... what a marvelous glass of wine. Exotic fruits, and lots of acidity..

Omg, this one I really loved! So many rich fruit flavors gets stuck on your tounge, and its light and fresh at the same time. Amazing to serve with seafood.
