Preposterous value. Nose is white cherry, peach, mineral and cantaloupe. Huge concentration and depth with unreal nimbleness and super juicy and of course a blizzard of minerals. So pure, so fresh, like rainwater. Astonishing. As this aerates the nose is so much more finely mineral. Really a stunning Gutswein. @Delectable Wine this is called 7 Terroirs. Thanks!

Aug 25th, 2022My Gut Hermannsberg journey starts now. This is a blend of young vines from their 7 GG sites. Classic Nahe nose. White cherries, slate, minerals, lanolin and very expressive and aromatic. Seriously gorgeous minerality. Palate is superbly mineral with great freshness and slatey/mineral intensity. Almost a mineral sweetness and the finish is terrific. Awesome purity and balance. Just a terrific intro into what this estate can do. There is some white cherry and maybe some peach fruit but pithy for sure. This is a mineral bomb.
