Brought this one back from france last year and finally had occasion to open. Deep golden color coming from age just starting to show in the wine. Fresh and racingly steely. Tart lemon that rounds out into a riper tangerine towards the back. White flowers and minerality thats just now hinting at petrol. And the whole thing is dipped in a delicate honeyed note. There is just not enough riesling in my life!

Clear, medium gold colour with clean, pronounced peach, citrus and petrol aromas. Dry, high acidity and medium body. Complex flavours of stone fruit and zesty lemon in particular. Outstanding quality that went perfectly with barramundi fillet.

Nov 24th, 2018Интенсивность средняя минус, полностью лакокрасочное, бензина много, дихлофос. Мёд. Фруктов немного, на заднем плане. Воск, мокрый хлеб, чуть тряпки. Сухо, горечь, химия в аромате и во вкусе, кислотность на ооочень хорошем уровне! Потенциала ещё много.

Was slightly surprised by the deep golden colour but found out it was normal due to the vintage.
Nose: sherry like smell, honey, oak
Smell of sherry makes me wonder if wine is slightly oxidized. Cork broke upon opening so this could have affected quality of wine.will need to taste another bottle for more accurate ratings
