Gulfi NeroSanLorè 2006: Medium-full bodied. Well balanced. Velvety & refined tannins. Intense aromas & deep flavors of cherry, plum, blackberry and notes of sweet tobacco, leather, earth & oak. Smooth long finish. For me, one of the best expressions of Nero d’Avola I have ever tasted. Loved the vibrant fruits after all these years. Happy Sunday to all! Make it a great day! Cheers🍷

What a beautiful Nero d’Avola! Stewed fruit in the nose and mouthfilling red fruit in taste with nice acidity. Keeps you coming back for more

Concerned it would taste too oaky, but a little aeration rendered a smooth, cherry flavor, and mild oak aroma. Would be great with pizza.

Perfect cold evening winter wine, spicy and rich but balanced. Great match for homemade pizza.

This was a fantastic 2005. Still could have waited longer, but it was at least at the beginning of its drinking window.
