Most if all the people I know and respect who do beer reviews hate this beer, I do not, I think it is a good beer, not great, but overall solid, it is not a American IPA, it is a English style IPA, the Nitro is another issue beer reviews have knocked this beer, claims the Nitro diminishes the hops, I think it adds that signature stamp that this brewery is famous for, is it perfect in the style? No, but it is not a bad or off putting beer in flavor, I personally was not happy and disappointed in their last few offerings, this one I am not, I would not go out of my to seek it out, but would not refuse to have it again, found it very drinkable and pleasant, not a hop heads beer, or even something so different that stands out in any way, again, just a well made solid beer

Great stuff. Kind of a cross btwn a lighter Guinness and an East Coast IPA. Silky mouthfeel with a bitter finish. 5.8% ABV well integrated. Thanks Doug!

Orange peel, coffee. Not as hoppy as I expected. Mouth feel is thick but a bit dull. I enjoyed it.

Mar 18th, 2016Had to try it, cause how do you not..... Lacks the traditional hoppy appeal that has IPAs trending. Not great and far from terrible.
