Still deep ruby. A little bottle funk then a more red-fruited nose than one would expect, given the color. Some wood and tobacco notes that make it very Bordelaise but still fruit forward. I think this is the precursor of Las Piedras?

This is las piedras. I had the pleasure of working with the last vintage (2004) of old vines there. Great site actually an epic site. Classic early 1990s wine. Cracked it for Benny t.
