Still deep ruby. A little bottle funk then a more red-fruited nose than one would expect, given the color. Some wood and tobacco notes that make it very Bordelaise but still fruit forward. I think this is the precursor of Las Piedras? — 7 years ago

I remember purchasing this wine in the mid-1990s. There were about 20/$25 a bottle. Very enjoyable. Actually visited and stayed at that house in Lake County.
