More in the Napa style than its Langtry estate-grown brethren, this great value of a Cab delivers medium bodied mocha and cherry flavors with a touch of oak.

Looking for a decent Cab under 20 bucks still remains a challenge

Well....dark fruit vanilla to the nose. Heavy cherry plum jam to the initial palate....where in lies the problem. Initial impression is this guy is going to be a run of the mill cali fruit but then.. charging up from the back palate..SO MUCH OAK...reminding you there is no way this guy will let you enjoy the fruit. A virtual oak slap down carrying with it a med plus finish.

Northern California is on fire, and I'm drinking this after a long day of chaos and a gratefully voluntary evacuation. I'm not picking up a big nose, though I did spend the morning in acrid smoke. This is a soothing, easy Cab with a sneak attack. A smooth beginning crescendos into bright cherry and black pepper. A full velvet body tapers quickly into a quiet finish. We raise a glass to all those impacted by the fires.

Dark deep purple, blueberries, plums and mocha. Strong cab the 14.5% alcohol calls for more air time. Delightful wine.
