Founded in 1984, Gruet Winery specializes in Methode Champenoise wines. Pale yellow, vibrant bubbles, Crisp fruit aromas, apples and pears. Palate shows generous mineral and toasty biscuit notes. Nice balance, medium finish.

Dec 5th, 2017A private label from one of my favorite wineries. Looks similar to the to blancs de noir, tastes like a more even balance between the Chardonnay. Less toasty in taste and more crisp apple flavor. Balance is refreshing and the bottle won't last long.

I could have easily thought this was from CA, and perhaps the American appellation explains that. Still, very drinkable
