Medium deep ruby with a thin violet , ruby rim. On the nose with time in decanter , this shows spicy crème de cassis , grafite and blackberry , red plum , touch of vanilla and a light toasty note, cherry . On the palate this has a richness of dark fruits , with blackberry , dark cherry , sweet quite suave tannins , quite good freshness and good acidity . The next day this comes across more reserved and focused with a saline , grafite tinge to the ripe dark fruits , fine chiselled tannins and really nice freshness . Good grafite tinged length. Pretty young still , this will improve over the next 5-8 years and keep well a further 10 or so .
