Nose is somewhat muted, but shows mostly a slightly scorched earth minerality over some cherry liqueur fruit. The fruit is a little bit more assertive in the mouth, but there is still a slightly scorchy note that muscles it out of the way. It’s not a lot different from a basic Cotes du Rhône.

And interesting smell of Kola nut and evergreen.
Feeling a bit elated, as it’s rare I end a game with 3 bullseyes.
Medium bodied, the mint coating the tongue, some Interesting herbs here - sarsaparilla, birch, a hint of horehound.. Hints of vanillin, happy with the oddness of this wine, as it is still a thing of well craft. If you don’t get too hung up on the individual flavors, this has a great wine to watch a little masterpiece theatre with.
