True to form #aglianico - good balance, acidity and red fruit notes.

I liked this wine. Didn’t love it. It took a really long time to open up, two+ hours before the acidity calmed down and the flavor profile came into focus. Once it did, I really appreciated the fresh berry nose and lingering damp earth notes on the finish. It was very tannic and dry, which I’m sometimes in the mood for, especially with food.
