Kevin steps it up with his wild ferment. Absolutely delicious! Steely mineral nose with asparagus and lemongrass. The mouthfeel is precisely textured with grapefruit, yellow apple, and lemon rind. The long finish is pleasantly chalky with fine acidity.

Extremely interesting for ordinary kiwi Sauv Blanc. Worth the risk. Muted tropical highlights grass and herbs with an Sicilian style funk.

Oakes wild yeast fermented nz Sauvignon blanc. I shouldn't like it but it's superb. Savoury.

Delicious wine combining Sauvignons green vibrancy, with creamy oak and floral leesy tones. It's different, weird and wonderful. Elderflower, coriander, creamy, with a gentle softness on the palate, acid is not sharp of overt. It's smooth, silky, creamy with tropical fruit and herbal notes. Great!

2012. Similar to the other Greywacke SBs. Grapefruit, grass and a wild rice character.

Very nice. Not your average Sauvignon Blanc from NZ. Very subtle. Complex. Could even mature 1 or 2 years more
