Greek Wine Cellars (GWC)
Flowers Nemea Agiorgitiko
Smells of ripe fig and cherry.
Top side of light to medium, kirsch, orange zest, rhubarb. Very enjoyable at the price, and works well with the sunset.

Had the 2020 in July of 2024. Paired kofta and roasted potatoes. Nice little wine. New grape for us. Medium tannins with hints of cherry and spice. Would absolutely buy this one again.

Jul 28th, 2024This is my first Greek wine! I know nothing about it. Just wanted a white and red for a homemade Greek dinner my friend made. Honestly, I opened it two days ago and feel like it’s been open too long now. I preferred it fresher. It’s not bad matter of fact, I like it. It’s a little lighter but quite flavorful.

Apr 11th, 2024Violets, rosemary and basil, cranberry, black plum, tobacco leaf, tart cherry, char, and whiff of leather shop on the nose. Cranberry, plum, fresh tart strawberries, and black tea on the palate. Light easy and juicy mouthfeel but well balanced with good acids and the tannins linger a while. Gets even better the second day. Great for either sipping alone or pairing with a variety of dishes.
