Carolyn lakewold there is no press wine in this a blend of 61 merlot, 23 cabernet sauvignon, 12 petit Verdot, 4 cf. from ciel du cheval vineyard very intense dark chocolate plum savory sage herbal notes along with clove and brown spice. Very smooth and polished on the tongue with dark berry fruit with excellent balance and a zesty spice on the finish with a good hand of that red mountain minerality. Finish 45+ excellent +

This gave off dizzying aromas of turpentine and nail polish remover on pop. It didn’t go away after check ins for 48 hours. At first I thought it was heat that needed to blow off but it was obviously a flaw. Enough VA to burn your skin.

Hearty! 13.8 ABV, but tastes "heavier", in a good way. 72% Merlot, 16% Cab Sauv, and some Cab Franc and Petit Verdon - brilliant mix! Chewy, berry, strawberry, stone, leather and all kinds of masculine flavors -brought to you by Carolyn Lakewold. One of the few WA wines I bought, interested to see what they do now that they have dropped the "collaboration" concept. 9.2, and loved it.
