John Lewis Walla Walla Valley Syrah

Meaty, pepper spiciness, soy, graphite. Rich, full bodied with balance and class. Blackberries on a long and sexy finish. Still youthful as it kept getting better with time.

Fabulous Syrah. Savory in the right volume. Balanced with great acidity. So good right now bout should age gracefully.

Red willow and les collines only 125 cases produced a very savory style lots of herbs and spice

showing really pretty violet notes right now.

Particularly smooth for a Syrah, needs a fair amount of time in the decanter to appreciate the nuances of the blend.

Wine of the night. Makes me love our neighbors in the great North. Warshington Syrah has such a badass nose with the Northern Rhône notes. Savory, jerky, minor tar touch, bacon, ahhh Mercy.

Amazing aromatics and long finish. Wonderful.

A very Northern Rhône style Syrah from my favorite Walla Walla winery! Savory aromas and flavors of smoke + meat + olive + dense earth = a very Merry Christmas indeed.
