This 2011 Sauvignon Blanc has guava, melon, ripe fig, peas and the fabled gooseberry on the nose --but gooseberry jam, not fresh berries. Acidity high but not screamingly so. Palate: lemon lime soda,above tropical fruits, a little phenolic. Pretty long finish. As always from this producer, a fine value.
