I had low expectations for this one and at first sip I believed I was right. Having said that after some aerating, the flavour really took form and made me less pessimistic. Not great, but not bad with hints of pepper and black cherry.

Dark, dirty (unclear) Ruby in color with a purple rim.
Extremely aromatic on the nose with blueberries, plums, oak, vanilla (light), licorice, blackberries and peppercorn.
Full bodied with a nice mouthfeel and great legs.
Dry and Fruity palate with blackberries, plums, cherries, figs, licorice, vanilla, cloves, dark chocolate and cedar.
Secondary flavors are definitely more accented on the palate.
Long finish with big round tannins.
This is a very enjoyable Malbec.
