Beautiful old-school Ribera, essentially sans soufre. 15% albillo keeps acid ⚡️⚡️, no shortage of Brett, tasty juice.

Little off the beaten path tonight and onto Ribera del Duero. Big cherries and tobacco with a touch of brett with super zingy acidity. The Brett isn’t too much of a turn-off but not my typical cup of tea. That said, it was an interesting departure from my usual haunts.

I had this lightly chilled and it just stings. A mouth full of sour cherries with a lingering aftertaste of dark chocolate. This wine is electric.
