2019: Blackest stout with a grainy, dark chestnut head that quickly reduces to
Polished black marble with a lunar nebula central. Single arches lacing. Molasses and licorice nose, dark chocolate, rich Turkish coffee, tobacco, caramel, coconut oak smolders through the last sniff. Really well integrated first sip. Powerful and sensually abundant, black licorice extract, chicory coffee, vanilla extract, pecans, dark brown sugar, toffee, mocha for the mileage.

Alcohol certainly comes through. Get lots of vanilla, touch of coffee. This beer did me in.

Strong whiff of bourbon barrel, mixed with chocolate syrup, coffee and sweet cream. Rich full bodied palate, sweet upfront with some bitter esspresso on the finish. Slightly reminiscent of a black and white milkshake with a high octane punch. Fantastic, i'd like to see how it ages. Ps- how cool that you can do beer and liquor on this app! I was unaware. Cheers to the folks at delectable :)

Might be the tastiest this beer has ever been on release. Super red fruit, chocolate, cocoa, and a bit short in the mid palate, but, hopefully that will fill out with time.

Absolutely one of the best I've had of their line up! 2015 was a great brew. Pours like TAR, sweet tobacco, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, dense creamy lusciousness in a bottle. Never had a beer quite as heavy and wonderful as this. I CANNOT WAIT to pop open the coffee BBS and Barley wine BBS. I'm opening up one more, and then aging the 2nd bottle I have for a few more years to see how it changes!

Definitely taste the whiskey barrel influence, this is bit a shy beer. Definitely an after dinner drink! High alcohol heavy weight!
