Goodfellow Family Cellars
Willamette Valley Chardonnay
Bright, airy, vibrant and fresh. Tons of dissolved co2, deserves a decanting

Oct 14th, 2018Lively and engaging with a delightful combination of fruit, acidity and deft use of oak. It didn’t hold-up on Day 2, but with wine of this price and quality, no need to leave anything in the bottle.

Mar 26th, 2021Wow, what a great Chardonnay. This massively over delivers for an appellation bottling. There is a nice floral honeysuckle and light hint of barrel spice. But the concentration on the palate is fantastic for such a light wine. Perfect acidity to balance the lemony, flinty, and spiced goodness. It finishes with spice and a hint of struck match that is very appealing. Overall I’d say this is one best Chardonnays I’ve ever had.
